Everything You Want to Know

About Plan C
We are based in Pniel and serve Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Somerset West, Paarl, and the surrounding Winelands. For larger projects we are willing to travel further afield — just ask us.
We have been providing landscaping and farming services in the Western Cape for over ten years. What started as a local garden service in Pniel has grown into a full-service landscaping and farming operation.
Yes. We are a registered business and carry public liability insurance. We can provide documentation on request when required for large estate or commercial projects.
Yes. We serve private homeowners, wine estates, lifestyle farms, guest houses, and commercial properties. The scale changes; the standard of work doesn't.
Quotes & Pricing
Call us, WhatsApp us, or fill in the contact form on our website. We will arrange a site visit within 48 hours and provide a detailed written quote shortly after the visit.
Yes. We offer a free site visit and written quote with no obligation. There is no call-out fee for standard residential and commercial properties in our service area.
Our quotes are itemised and include a breakdown of labour, materials, plants, and any specialist equipment. There are no hidden extras — what we quote is what you pay unless you request additional work.
For larger projects we typically require a 50% deposit on acceptance of the quote, with the balance due on completion. For maintenance plans, we invoice monthly in arrears.
Projects
Small garden installations typically take 2–5 working days. Medium-sized residential projects range from 1–2 weeks. Larger estate projects can run 2–6 weeks depending on scope. We will give you a realistic timeline in your quote.
Both. We take on once-off jobs such as planting days, clean-ups, tree work, and irrigation installs, as well as large design-and-build projects. There is no minimum project size.
Yes. We can arrange access with a property manager, gate code, or spare key. We are used to working on properties when owners are not present, and we always leave the site neat and secure.
Yes. We source all plants, soil, mulch, compost, and hard landscaping materials. If you have specific plants you've already purchased or would like us to source from a particular nursery, we are happy to accommodate that.
We handle change requests professionally with a short written variation note so there are no surprises. Minor changes are often absorbed; significant scope changes will be priced and approved before we proceed.
Maintenance
Yes. We offer weekly, fortnightly, and monthly maintenance plans tailored to the size and needs of your garden. Our plans include mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, and fertilisation.
Yes, wherever possible. We allocate a dedicated team to each maintenance client so the same people who know your garden visit every time. Familiarity leads to better results.
Yes. We ask for 30 days written notice to pause or cancel. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation penalties. We earn your continued business by doing good work.
A standard visit covers mowing and edging all lawn areas, weeding beds and borders, pruning and shaping shrubs, clearing fallen leaves and debris, checking irrigation, and a general site inspection. We'll flag anything that needs attention.
Specific Services
Absolutely. Retro-fitting irrigation to an existing garden is something we do regularly. We work carefully to avoid disturbing established plantings and roots. A drip system can usually be installed with minimal disruption.
Yes. We carry out professional tree felling and removal, including near buildings and infrastructure. We assess each tree individually and plan the removal method to ensure safety. All waste is chipped or removed from site.
We offer both. If you want hands-on planting and setup, we do that. If you want a consultation to advise your own team on soil prep, crop rotation, or pest management, we offer that too.
A small courtyard fountain or rill typically takes 2–4 days. A larger naturalistic pond with rock edging and planting can take 1–2 weeks. We'll design it, build it, and set up the pump and filtration system before handover.
